2011 YPN Advisory Board

Meet the advisory board for this year's Young Professionals Network.


Brian Copeland, CRS

Nashville, Tenn.

Brian Copeland consistently sells in the top 1 percent of his Nashville market where he was the 2005 Rookie of the Year. He founded and leads REBarcamp Nashville, and was named the 2010 NAR Technology Spotlight Advocate Award winner. Brian is a Golden R President’s Circle RPAC contributor and serves as his local RPAC chair. Additionally, Brian is on Tennessee’s Governmental Affairs Committee as well as NAR’s Cultural Diversity Committee. He has worked on NAR’s Professional Standards committee and the Federal Technology Issues Advisory. He’s on the Executive Committee for the Council of Residential Specialists and is the emcee of their national convention, Sell-a-bration. Brian is a nationally recognized blogger and speaks at over 40 national and state conferences each year from Hawaii to Nova Scotia. On the YPN front, Brian as helped form four Tennessee YPN chapters and continues to serve on his local advisory. He’s appeared on multiple HGTV and TLC series and serves as a real estate news commentator.

Nobu Hata is an instructor and sales associate for Edina Realty in Minneapolis, and is a founding member of the Minneapolis YPN group, the YoPros, which was the first YPN chapter established in the country. An industry veteran since 1996, Hata strives to make the real estate buying and selling "experience" better for his clients, and to make the new and old schools of real estate "play nice" at the association and national level through involvement, education and instruction. A new media and tech geek, Hata was a 2010 Minnesota and Minneapolis Realtor of the Year nominee, serves on NAR's Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity and Communications Committee and is an active YPN Lounge blogger.

As a former owner/broker of a $55 million-plus producing real estate firm, Hanson understands the complexities involved in managing a successful real estate company. His expertise in luxury waterfront property sales, skill and sales production led him to be recognized by REALTOR® Magazine as one of 2004’s elite "30 Under 30." Most recently, Hanson chosen as a contestant on Season 10 of NBC’s The Apprentice – a reality TV series headed by real estate mogul and billionaire Donald Trump.

Spring Bengtzen is branch broker for Keller Williams in Eden, Utah, where she has distinguished herself as the go-to expert in the resort and second home market in Northern Utah. Bengtzen has an extensive background in new construction, development and marketing of master plan communities. Bengtzen showed initiative and a strong work ethic from the very beginning of her career as a real-estate professional. As part of a team and as an individual, she has sold more than $100 million in real estate properties in her six-year career. Bengtzen attributes part of her success to treating her clients like friends and family members. These qualities and accomplishments are the things that made it possible for her to be recognized as one of REALTOR® Magazines prestigious “30 under 30” for 2010. She is a Sterling R – RPAC contributor and is the co-founder of her local YPN network.


Tiffany Curry, ABR®

Leadership Chair

Tiffany Curry is a multi-million dollar producing, first-generation REALTOR® who specializes in corporate relocation and residential home sales. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and has studied graduate-level broadcasting and journalism. Tiffany is the chair of Houston Association of REALTORS®’ (HAR) Nextgen REALTOR® Group (NRG), the 2010 YPN Chapter of the Year, where she began as communications chair handling the group’s social media and marketing. She has been featured in the Houston Business Journal multiple times and was also recently selected as one of the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) 2010 NRG’s Inaugural 20 under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate. Tiffany has served on the 2009 and 2010 HAR TREPAC Advisory Group where in 2010, over $600,000 in member contributions were raised in support of TREPAC/RPAC. In her spare time, Tiffany assists under privileged youth learning to prepare for life after high school using what she learned in college as VP of public relations for Toastmasters International. She has served on the board of director for the Texas Association of REALTORS® and in 2011 will serve on the HAR board of directors.

In 2002, Lorieal Green received an MBA with a concentration in sales and marketing. By the end of 2004, Lorieal's first year in real estate, she was awarded Rookie of the Year. Green lead her office for two consecutive years as the top producing individual agent and was the eighth highest producing agent in metropolitan Atlanta with Coldwell Banker. In 2007, she obtained a broker license in the state of Georgia and was honored by REALTOR® Magazine as a "30 Under 30" nationwide. In 2009, Green affiliated with Keller Williams and is a member of the Associate Leadership Council (A.L.C.). She is a life member of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club and will serve as a director of the Atlanta board in 2011. Lorieal is also on NAR's Housing Advisory Board. She resides in metro Atlanta with her husband and son.

Rogers Healy founded Rogers Healy & Associates Residential Real Estate in 2006, after working with some of Dallas' most prestigious real estate firms. Maybe you've seen some of his T-shirts worn by Hollywood stars with the logo "Rogers Healy is my REALTOR®." Rogers started his career in real estate while he was a student at Southern Methodist University, and over the years he found that his untraditional approach to a traditional business helped him find success and enjoyment. Healy is a member of the 2009 class of "30 Under 30."


Bobbi Howe, CRS

Mentorship Chair

Bobbi Howe is a second-generation REALTOR® who has been helping her mother sell real estate since age 8. Howe officially received her real estate license when she turned 18 and even spent time working as an escrow agent for a title insurance company before coming back to real estate full time. Howe is 2011 President- Elect of the St Joseph (Mo.) Regional Association of REALTORS®, chair of the Missouri Association of REALTORS® CENTER Committee and is serving on the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) Trends Assessment Team. Howe was a 2008 member of the Missouri Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy and co-founded the Missouri YPN Chapter in 2009. In her spare time, Howe enjoys running marathons and is an Angry Birds and Words with Friends addict.

Keith Kanemoto is a second generation commercial REALTOR® and shareholder in Prudential Rocky Mountain REALTORS® in Longmont, Colo. He graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in finance and real estate in 1999. Since joining the business, he has served as president of the Longmont Association of REALTORS®, six years as a director for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, Northeast District vice president for CAR, co-founder and chairperson of the CYPN Young Professionals Network in Colorado and chairman of the Longmont Area Economic Council. He was one of REALTOR® Magazine’s "30 Under 30" in 2005 and 40 Under 40 from the Boulder County Business Journal in 2010. Kanemoto is currently in the NAR 2011 Leadership Academy class and is serving his second term on the NAR Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity Committee.

Lauren Mitrick grew up in Chicago in a real estate family and started her career leasing residential units over seven years ago. Today, Mitrick specializes in residential and commercial sales, as well as leasing. In 2010, Mitrick was selected as one of REALTOR® Magazine’s "30 Under 30" from young professionals across the country. Chicago Agent Magazine named Mitrick as one of their "Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate" in 2008 and again in 2010. Lauren was the youngest president to serve the Chicago chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® in 2009, and under her direction, the chapter received the Silver Excellence Award. She continues to serve the real estate community by volunteering on numerous committees for the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and joined their board of directors in the fall of 2010. Lauren has earned her ABR, CNE, and ADPR designations and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Illinois where she graduated with honors and distinction.

Michael Oppler, 24, is a sales associate with Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Bergen County, N.J. He serves on the public relations committee at the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS®, and is a founding member of the Eastern Bergen County YPN network. Oppler will serve on the Communications Committee for the National Association of REALTORS® in 2011 and is a Sterling R RPAC contributor. He has sold over $3 million worth of real estate in his first year as a full time REALTOR®.

Aaron Wheeler is the president and managing broker of Oakville Properties and president of Oakville Capital, a luxury mortgage brokerage licensed in California, Florida, and New York. He is also the founder/editor of LUXRETECH, a site dedicated to helping real estate professionals leverage technology for luxury home marketing, and president of RealAdTrack, a service that will allow real estate professionals to measure the effectiveness and ROI of their online and print advertising. Wheeler is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Million Dollar Guild member, and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). He is a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and the FIABCI International Real Estate Federation. As a huge proponent of leveraging technology in real estate, Wheeler is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Wheeler has presented at the National Association of REALTORS®, spring and fall retreats, Leaders in Luxury, and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing's Marketing Effectiveness/Third Day workshop.


Robert Wiebusch

Robert Wiebusch is vice president of operations for NP Dodge Real Estate. He holds a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis on real estate and land use economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Wiebusch also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002. Wiebusch was highlighted in REALTOR® Magazine as a member of the “30 Under 30” Class of 2009 and was the first REALTOR® from Nebraska to receive this honor. He was also chosen to be part of the 2010/2011 Leadership Omaha class. Leadership Omaha is a 10-month study of community issues, designed to develop effective leaders who will strengthen and transform the community. Wiebusch serves on various young professional and charitable boards in the Omaha community.
