3 Topics Raising Our Eyebrows in D.C.

It’s been an eventful week at the REALTOR® Party Convention & Trade Expo in Washington, D.C. Lots of news has come from the meetings, including a few items that many members may find surprising.

On Wednesday, discussions covered discrimination against people with disabilities, landlords and marijuana law enforcement, and the mortgage interest deduction. Here are a few things that caught our attention.

  • Most real estate websites probably discriminate against people with disabilities.
  • Landlords may have to start letting their tenants smoke pot.
  • Tax reform could make the MID less appealing to home owners.
