REALTORS® Unite for 2014 Boston Marathon

REALTORS® across Boston and the country are showing the #PowerofR in a big way as the 2014 Boston Marathon — and the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings — fast approaches.

This year, many REALTORS® — some for the first time — are pledging to run in the race one year after two bombs rocked the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring more than 260. They will be running to raise funds for various charities and to show that they remain "Boston Strong" in the face of terrorism.

But even if you aren't in Boston and won't be running in the marathon, you can help participating REALTORS® reach their fundraising goals to help bombing victims and other charities. The National Association of REALTORS®, Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, and Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® have banded together to put on a fundraiser called REALTORS® Running for a Cause, which will offer a myriad of ways that the real estate community across the U.S. can have a positive impact on this year's Boston Marathon.

Find out how to get involved, and read the inspiring stories of two REALTORS®, one a victim in last year's bombings and the other a Good Samaritan who is running for the first time this year.
