The average U.S. worker saw their salary increase 1.7 percent in the past year, according to PayScale. Some cities saw even larger increases in third-quarter wages. Could their housing markets be the next to see a bump?

  2. Baltimore
    • 1-year pay increase: 3%
  3. Seattle
    • 1-year pay increase: 2.7%
  4. Atlanta
    • 1-year pay increase: 2.5%
  5. Dallas
    • 1-year pay increase: 2.5%
  6. Washington, D.C.
    • 1-year pay increase: 2.4%
  7. St. Louis
    • 1-year pay increase: 2.3%
