YouTube Videos Soon Available Offline

YouTube has announced that starting in November, users will be able to watch videos without an Internet connection. The feature will be available on YouTube’s mobile apps.

Users will be able to pre-download videos from YouTube to watch from their device later, even when an Internet connection isn’t available. Users will be able to watch the videos for up to 48 hours offline.

“Your fans’ ability to enjoy your videos no longer has to be interrupted by something as commonplace as a morning commute,” YouTube wrote in a recent blog post announcing the new feature.

Ads will continue to run with videos, and the companies that have ads on videos will continue to earn ad revenue even when videos are viewed offline. Also, views will continued to be counted too, reports AllThingsD.com.
