10 Towns With Most Room to Grow

As part of its annual Best Places to Live survey, Money Magazine evaluated towns to locate the least crowded with lots of space to still spread out. The towns evaluated have been seeing population growth and have a median family income above the state average. 

According to Money Magazine, here are the towns that still have plenty of room to grow: 

1. Boulder City, Nev.
Population: 15,564
People per square mile: 75

2. Canyon Lake, Texas
Population: 22,863
People per square mile: 160

3. Nantucket, Mass.
Population: 11,171
People per square mile: 248

4. Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Population: 44,907
People per square mile: 295

5. Woodbury, N.Y.
Population: 10,902
People per square mile: 306

6. Amherst, N.H.
Population: 11,284
People per square mile: 330

7. Colts Neck, N.J.
Population: 10,178
People per square mile: 331

8. Colchester, Conn.
Population: 16,277
People per square mile: 332

9. Readington, N.J.
Population: 16,222
People per square mile: 340

10. Hooksett, N.H.
Population: 13,482
People per square mile: 370
