More Commuters Eye Bike-Friendly Housing
As more and more Americans opt to commute via bicycle, demand is growing for housing that can accommodate the needs of these residents.
Apartment developers in bike-friendly cities like Seattle, Denver, and Portland are responding by providing secure storage space for bikes and equipment.
Examples include the Solera apartment community in Denver, which features a "velo room" where resident cyclists can repair flats, pump tires, clean bike chains, and perform other maintenance.
