Spruce Up Your Online Persona

To enhance their online marketing this year, real estate agents should look at their Web sites and Facebook pages as if for the first time and determine whether that is the marketing message they want to send.  They also should make sure their content is fresh and their Web site is up to date. 

Additionally, they should check their stats through Google Analytics -- particularly their referral sources -- and use this information to determine where to spend more time.  If a majority of their traffic comes from the MLS site, they should spruce up their profile on that site; but if Facebook is their top referrer, they should devote more time to Facebook posts. 

Finally, they should carve out an hour per week in their schedule for online marketing; and if their administrative assistants handle their online updates, they should provide them with the appropriate training.
