3 Tech Trends Growing in 2013

In real estate, you likely rely on a range of technology to keep in touch with your business while on the go. Some emerging trends in technology are aimed at making working and staying in touch easier for the on-the-go professional too.

Forbes recently predicted some technology trends expected to dominate in 2013. Among their picks:

  • Cheaper tablets: The prices will likely come down for these super-slim mobile computers. What’s more, as prices comes down, more people may start to even have multiple tablets for different purposes, such as one for reading and one for work purposes. Cheaper tablets will also likely foster a new way of thinking about tablets, less as "expensive computers" and more as "replacements for paper."
  • Computing that you wear: Could you soon be checking your watch to read your next e-mail? Maybe. New products are being aimed at “wearable computing,” from watches to necklaces that allow you other ways to check your messages than taking out your phone constantly.
  • Cloud computing: More will head toward the cloud, as far as software and storage. This helps allow your programs and documents to be readily available wherever you have an Internet connection.
