How to Ensure Your Seller Stays Happy With You
How to Ensure Your Seller Stays Happy With You
Sellers can grow frustrated with their real estate agents if they don’t see quick results on the sale of their home. This is why it's important that you stay in constant communication with your sellers while their home is on the market.
Realty Times recently featured an article listing several ways to keep your sellers satisfied with your business. Among some of the article’s suggestions for staying in constant communication with seller:
- Send the seller links to all of the online advertising you’ve done of the listing, such as on Realtor.com, Craigslist, your virtual tour, blog, and other advertising.
- Notify your seller once the listing is on the MLS and send him a copy of the listing.
- Provide the seller with a copy of the home brochure and ask him to provide feedback before you print it.
- Be sure after the first showing to ask the seller if he has any questions about showings or anything else with the selling process.
- Send your seller a “state of the market” report that reveals all similar listings to their home. Be sure to update this report every two to three weeks.
