New Zillow Tool Promotes Seller Incentives
A new program at Zillow allows real estate professionals to advertise a seller-funded incentive next to their home listings to try to garner more buyer attention. Zillow’s Special Offers is part of its Zillow Premier Agent program, a paid service for featuring listings.
“The seller may feel an added incentive will help their listing be more attractive to buyers -- whether it is new on the market, in need of new appliances, or lacking blinds,” according to the Zillow Blog. “These seller-funded incentives give buyers a little something extra after closing, such as $3,000 credit off closing costs or a gift card to go buy those new appliances or blinds … extras that make the listing stand out!”
Visitors to Zillow will be able to search for Zillow Special Offers, or the incentives will also appear at the top of search results.
