Most Walkable and Least Walkable U.S. Cities

Walk Score released its report on the 50 largest U.S. cities and New York tops the list as most walkable with a score of 85.3. Jacksonville, Fla., on the otherhand, scored least walkable city in the nation at 32.6 out of 100, with data indicating that 80 percent of local residents live in vehicle-dependent neighborhoods.

San Francisco (84.9)
Boston (79.2)
Chicago (74.3)
Philadelphia (74.1)

Walk Score's least walkable cities:
Jacksonville, Fla. (32.6)
Charlotte, N.C. (34.3)
Oklahoma City, Okla. (35.6)
Fort Worth, Texas (36.1)
Nashville-Davids, Tenn. (36.4)
