"I was in the U.S. Air Force and was exploring other options. My dad, who was also in the military, was stationed in Tucson. He bought a new home and, through the process, we decided that by being real estate pros, we could continue serving the military airmen at Davis-Monthan Air Force base by helping them purchase their homes. The base paper ranked real estate as the third least-trusted occupation at the time, and I knew we could change that stigma as long as we stayed honest and took care of our people."
