"I was asked to handle all real estate acquisitions for a local school system for a levy that brought more than $60 million to construct three new schools. This involvement started as a contract and turned into a consultant role with no pay. Being involved was very gratifying as my knowledge and experience was used in making decisions. I believe that investing in the community and local organizations is an investment in my future as well."
